The Government of Nova Scotia is seeking a skilled and compassionate Victim Services Navigator to join our team. As a key member of our Maintenance Enforcement and Victim Services Division, you will play a vital role in delivering support services to victims of crime.
Key Responsibilities- Provide information and support services directly to victims of crime, ensuring their rights and needs are met.
- Act as a liaison between victims and justice personnel, facilitating communication and coordination.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet the needs of victims, including court preparation sessions and accompaniment.
- Maintain accurate records and confidentiality of client information.
To be successful in this role, you will possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of experience in client services, case management, and community resources. Your knowledge of the criminal justice system, victim rights, and community resources is essential. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are also required.
