Shift Manager

We are seeking a skilled Shift Manager to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Operations: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, supervise and check delivery of food trolleys.
- Team Management: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff, ensure that work schedules are met.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Skills: Excellent oral communication, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and team player.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment.
- Support for Youths: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment.
- Support for Veterans: Supports Veterans in translating their military skills and experience into the language of the civilian job market.
- Support for Indigenous People: Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, provides cultural competency training.
