Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they meet performance expectations.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that inventory levels are maintained to meet customer demand.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other Shift Managers and store staff to achieve business objectives and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a fast-paced food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and standing for extended periods.
