Job Summary

SKYDOME AUTO AND TRUCK CENTRE is seeking a skilled Computer Network Technician to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and data security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • Hardware and Software Evaluation: Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to ensure optimal performance.
  • User Support: Provide problem-solving services to network users, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of technical issues.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures to protect our network and data from unauthorized access.
  • Network Monitoring: Perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures, maintain control records, and perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
  • Network Optimization: Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, and implement network traffic and security monitoring software to optimize server performance.
Work Environment

As a Computer Network Technician at SKYDOME AUTO AND TRUCK CENTRE, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

Requirements
  • Education: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
