SKYDOME AUTO AND TRUCK CENTRE is seeking a skilled Computer Network Technician to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our local area networks, wide area networks, mainframe networks, and computer workstations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to ensure optimal network performance.
  • Provide problem-solving services to network users, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures to protect our network and sensitive information.
  • Perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures, maintaining control records and ensuring network integrity.
  • Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, ensuring seamless communication and data exchange.
  • Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, optimizing server performance and ensuring network efficiency.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.

Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
