Job Title: Computer Network Technician

We are seeking a skilled Computer Network Technician to join our team at DATOS SUPPORT CONSULTING INC.

Job Summary

The Computer Network Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering computer networks, including LANs, WANs, and mainframe networks. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate access and use of computer networks
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer LANs, WANs, and mainframe networks
  • Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade web server hardware and software
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software
  • Perform routine network start-up and close-down and maintain control records
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
  • Respond to requests for help and information from Website visitors and Website designers
  • Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations
  • Supervise technical staff
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent technical skills, including networking software and hardware
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Initiative and a team player
