Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Graduate Recruitment Specialist to join our team at the University of Ottawa. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to drive our graduate recruitment efforts and contribute to the success of our faculty.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $77,637.00 - $98,070.00 per annum, commensurate with experience.

About the Role

As a Strategic Graduate Recruitment Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent to our graduate programs. You will work closely with our faculty members, academic staff, and other stakeholders to promote our programs and increase visibility.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing comprehensive recruitment plans that align with our faculty's strategic objectives
  • Building relationships with alumni, industry partners, and other stakeholders to foster partnerships and collaborations
  • Creating engaging content and marketing materials to promote our graduate programs and events
  • Collaborating with our web development team to ensure our website is up-to-date and reflects our faculty's brand and image
  • Providing excellent customer service and support to prospective students, current students, and faculty members
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Minimum five years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a university setting
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies and achieving desired outcomes
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset
