Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Spicy Fusion Cuisine Ltd. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our kitchen and front-of-house areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Preparation

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.

Inventory Management

Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock levels to ensure that we always have the necessary ingredients and supplies on hand.

Staff Management

Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that we have the right people in the right roles to deliver exceptional customer service and high-quality food.

Quality Control

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintain a clean and safe working environment for all staff and customers.

Record Keeping

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and provide regular reports to management on key performance indicators.

Communication

Prepare food order summaries for the chef, and supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure that all food is delivered to the highest standards.

Work Scheduling

Establish work schedules for food service staff, ensuring that we have the right people in the right roles at the right times to deliver exceptional customer service and high-quality food.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role.

Certifications

Food Safety Certificate.

Language

Fluent in English.

Work Schedule

40 hours per week.
