We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales leader to join our team as a District Sales Manager, BC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for implementing our sales strategy and leading a team of sales representatives to achieve profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a sales team and develop a culture of trust, accountability, and results-driven performance.
- Develop and execute a sales strategy that aligns with our business objectives.
- Coach and develop sales representatives to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to effectively execute our sales strategy.
- Manage the communication flow to the field sales force through regular meetings, emails, and phone calls.
- Work closely with sales representatives to ensure they are profitability growing their territories.
- Ensure the team has the ability and knowledge to effectively use all reporting tools, including Salesforce and Concur.
- Develop and execute an annual territory plan and key customer development plans.
- Track, assess, and share results internally.
- Create and deliver quarterly presentations to ensure the field sales execution direction is in line with sales strategy.
- Review account coverage and service model on an ongoing basis to ensure optimal deployment to deliver business objectives.
- Work closely with Key Account Managers to ensure the team has the knowledge to be successful in different types of retail customers.
- A University Degree or Comparable (Primary Focus on Business, Sales, and/or Marketing).
- A track record of success in a similar role.
- Experience in the beverage alcohol industry an asset.
- WSET or ISG Certification an asset.
- Strong wine product knowledge and understanding of the BC beverage alcohol industry.
- Proven Experience or Certification in sales skills and negotiation.
- Strong analytical skills, and polished presentation abilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proven problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to deal effectively with customers and peers.
- Results-oriented, self-motivated, driven, and disciplined.
- Computer literacy, including the ability to create and modify PowerPoint presentations, Word and Excel documents, as well as effectively utilize web-based tools and resources.
- Proof of valid Driver's License will be required.
- Genuine interest and passion for the beverage alcohol industry.
