We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Wildco Partners 3 Inc. as a key member of our culinary operations.
Job Summary:The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the planning, preparation, and presentation of meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role requires a strong understanding of culinary techniques, menu planning, and kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers.
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu items.
- Train and develop kitchen staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
- 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, menu planning, and kitchen operations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred.
