About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Maglicious. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance our culinary offerings
    • Plan and execute menu items, ensuring timely and efficient preparation and presentation
  • Culinary Team Management
    • Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
    • Develop and implement effective kitchen procedures and protocols to ensure efficient and safe food preparation
  • Food Safety and Quality Control
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that food meets our high standards
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet our culinary needs
    • Develop and implement effective inventory management procedures to minimize waste and optimize stock levels
  • Cost Control and Budgeting
    • Develop and implement effective cost control measures to minimize food costs and optimize profitability
    • Manage kitchen budgets to ensure that we stay within our financial targets
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 1-2 years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role
    • Post-secondary education in culinary arts or a related field
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Proven track record of success as an Executive Chef or in a similar role
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation
