About This Role
This role is a key driver of company revenue and growth, responsible for leading and driving sales engagements with Public Sector customers. As a seasoned sales professional, you will be expected to leverage your expertise in SASE technology and complex solution selling to identify business challenges and create tailored solutions for our customers.
With a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and customer needs, you will effectively position our portfolio of Palo Alto Networks solutions to meet their evolving security requirements. Your consultative approach will empower our customers to create a truly zero-trust based security architecture, enabling them to stay ahead of the ever-increasing threat landscape.
Your Impact
- You will orchestrate complex sales cycles and collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Your technical aptitude will enable you to understand how technology products and solutions solve business problems, ensuring you can articulate the value proposition to our customers.
- You will cultivate relationships with channel partners to bring a channel-centric go-to-market approach for our customers, driving revenue growth and expansion.
- Leveraging prospect stories, you will create compelling value propositions that highlight the benefits of our solutions for each specific account.
- You will stay abreast of industry news and trends, incorporating this knowledge into your sales strategies to ensure you are always equipped to address emerging customer needs.
- As needed, you will travel within your territory and to company-wide meetings to drive collaboration and shared success.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Technical Skills
- Experience and knowledge of SaaS-based architectures, ideally in a networking and/or security industry - SASE technology is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience selling complex solutions, value selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.
- Technical aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems.
Business Acumen
- Ability to identify business challenges and create tailored solutions for customers.
- Cultivate relationships with channel partners to bring a channel-centric go-to-market approach.
- Stay updated on industry news and trends, incorporating this knowledge into sales strategies.
Prior Experience
- Demonstrated experience in a similar sales or consultative role, preferably in the cybersecurity or technology sector.
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with a strong understanding of sales performance metrics and KPIs.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and channel partners.
