About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Butcher, Retail Specialist to join our team at SAN ANTONIO SEAFOOD MARKET LTD. in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Cut and trim carcasses, sides, and quarters to create standard cuts of meat.
  • Wrap and package prepared meats for sale, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Remove bones from meat and weigh meats for sale, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Clean and prepare fish and shellfish, cutting them into steaks and fillets as needed.
  • Train and mentor junior meat cutters, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Slice cooked meats and prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products to attract customers.
Work Environment

As a Butcher, Retail Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a retail butcher or meat cutting role.
