Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Butcher to join our team at Mr Halal Meat. As a Butcher, you will be responsible for cutting and preparing meats for sale, as well as providing excellent customer service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut and prepare meats for sale, including cutting carcasses, sides, and quarters
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and making recommendations to customers
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a butcher shop or meat retail environment
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods
Working Conditions

The Butcher will work in a fast-paced environment, with exposure to odors, cold temperatures, and heavy lifting. The ideal candidate will be physically fit and able to work effectively in a team environment.
