We are seeking a highly skilled Project Planning and Scheduling Specialist to join our team at Nuna Logistics in Edmonton, AB. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading construction company in Canada.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate project schedules, coordinating personnel, and ensuring seamless project execution. With a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement, you will play a crucial role in driving business success.

Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain active project schedule systems to track project status and forecast equipment and personnel needs
  • Develop and implement planning and scheduling systems that promote exceptional project execution
  • Maintain a document management system for pristine record-keeping and filing
  • Research and introduce new technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness in planning, scheduling, and performance management
  • Develop and maintain extensive training programs to support all aspects of planning and scheduling
Requirements
  • Three years of experience in construction industry project planning and scheduling
  • Progressive responsibility with experience developing schedules and scheduling programs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite of software and current version of Primavera Project Planner
  • Demonstrated experience in training and mentoring junior level planners/schedulers
