We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team at Mircom Group of Companies. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our customers by designing, installing, testing, and maintaining fire alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and install fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Perform regular inspections and maintenance of fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.
  • Test and repair fire alarm systems as needed to ensure they meet industry standards.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers on fire alarm systems.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of fire alarm solutions.

Requirements and Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Fire Alarm Technician in the commercial or industrial sector.
  • Electronics diploma or equivalent from an accredited college/university or documented and demonstrated trade qualification.
  • Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) Registration or comparable qualification.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift equipment and tools up to 70lbs and climb ladders and scaffolding.
