Tool Crib Attendant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Tool Crib Attendant to join our team at Magna International Inc. in Mississauga, ON. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing hand tools, machine tools, dies, materials, and equipment in a manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Issue tools and equipment to manufacturing area as needed.
- Manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
- Receive and distribute MRO supplies and deliver packages or goods to individual parties as necessary.
- Verify shipment accuracy and report any discrepancies or damaged goods.
- Escalate backorders and provide reports to Purchasing Leadership as required.
- Organize and maintain the tool crib and shop floor vending machines by restocking, cleaning, and performing cycle counts as per schedule.
- Work flexible hours to support business needs and perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or purchasing-related role in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with AutoCrib or similar inventory management systems is an asset.
- Knowledge of industrial and safety products is required.
- Post-secondary certificate or degree in a purchasing-related area of study is an asset.
