Concrete Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Maple Cribbing and Slabs. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete products.
Key Responsibilities- Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet our quality standards.
- Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade and depth specifications.
- Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
- Prepare tenders and quotations for clients, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of our products.
- Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and achieve the desired finish.
- Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specifications, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
- Work at heights on scaffolding or swing stages, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Impart desired finishes to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools, ensuring a high-quality finish.
- Instruct apprentices in the art of concrete finishing, sharing your expertise and knowledge.
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures to ensure a secure and durable finish.
- Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces, protecting our products from the elements.
- Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures, ensuring our products remain in top condition.
- This role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift, bend, and work at heights.
