Tool Crib Attendant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Tool Crib Attendant to join our team at Magna International Inc. in Mississauga, ON. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and organizing tools, equipment, and inventory in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and inventory in a manufacturing facility.
- Issue tools and equipment to workers and maintain records of tools and equipment issued and returned.
- Manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and escalate issues as needed.
- Receive and distribute MRO supplies and deliver packages or goods to individual parties as necessary.
- Verify shipment accuracy and report discrepancies.
- Escalate backorders and provide purchasing reports as required.
- Organize and maintain the tool crib and shop floor vending machines.
- Work flexible hours to support business needs and perform other duties as required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or purchasing-related role.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is mandatory.
- Post-secondary certificate or degree in a purchasing-related area of study is an asset.
- Working knowledge of industrial and safety products is required.
- Previous experience with AutoCrib is considered a valuable asset.
- Knowledge and training in WHMIS and/or handling dangerous goods is an asset.
