About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP SuccessFactors Technical Lead to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our HR Systems team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership in the analysis, design, development, configuration, and support of cost-effective, online HR management and decision support systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership in the design, development, configuration, and implementation of HR processes within SuccessFactors.
- Lead the resolution of complex business problems and work under tight deadlines, conflicting priorities, and changing project requirements.
- Manage multiple small projects, participate in and/or manage specific sections of large projects, and provide ongoing support to all assigned units worldwide.
- Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex business problems, including analyzing business and user needs, documenting requirements, and translating them into systems requirement specifications.
Requirements
- 1-3 years combined SAP SuccessFactors configuration experience.
- SAP SuccessFactors PMGM certification.
- Knowledge of Talent process to oversee day-to-day activities.
- Working knowledge of HR business process.
- Expertise in Microsoft suite.
- Creative, self-starting, results-oriented, and highly motivated individual with very good analytical skills to apply to independently resolve complex business problems.
- Proven interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to build consensus and obtain cooperation from both users and senior management.
- Must have a very good understanding of current IT practices, systems development techniques, including requirements specification and testing methodologies, real-time analytical, and formal modeling tools, and keep current with rapidly changing technology.
