Sales Leadership Opportunity

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Director of Business Development to join our team at XTL Transport, Logistics, Distribution. In this key role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and leading our regional sales teams across Canada and the U.S.

You will develop and implement a cross-border sales strategy that aligns with our corporate goals and market demands. This will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to execute the sales strategy and ensure operational excellence.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement a cross-border sales strategy aligned with corporate goals and market demands.
  2. Lead efforts in new business acquisition and account development, focusing on high-priority, high-value cross-border targets.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute the cross-border sales strategy and ensure operational excellence.
  4. Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and client needs to keep the cross-border strategy proactive and adaptable.

Requirements

  1. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales leadership, ideally within transportation, warehousing, and logistics sectors.
  2. Proven track record of successfully managing and growing regional sales teams in a B2B environment.
  3. Strong strategic thinking, aligning business development efforts with corporate goals.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
