Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team at Project Redirect Inc Of The District. As a key member of our project development and construction management teams, you will play a central role in driving the development and construction of renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Vice President of Project Development and other team members with the delivery of small to medium-sized projects in our facilities.
  • Support the development of large renewable energy projects, conducting feasibility assessments, technical evaluations, and economic models.
  • Carry out project management tasks, including planning, cost estimating, reporting, contractor selection, and contract management.
  • Represent the company's interests in dealings with customers, clients, subcontractors, or suppliers.
  • Assist with the day-to-day operations of our corporate Project Development team, tracking, reporting, and ensuring departmental tasks and activities are on schedule and properly documented.

Requirements:

  • University degree in engineering or a relevant discipline.
  • Professional Engineering designation or certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a project engineering/management function for capital projects.
  • Project management professional certification through the Project Management Institute is preferred.
  • Renewable natural gas and/or anaerobic digestion experience would be considered an asset.
