Project Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Development Specialist to join our team at Project Redirect Inc Of The Distric. As a key member of our project development team, you will play a central role in the delivery of our renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the VP Project Development in the development and delivery of small to medium projects in our facilities.
  • Conduct feasibility assessments, technical evaluations, and economic models to support the final selection of projects that align with our organizational strategy.
  • Carry out project management tasks such as planning, cost estimating, reporting, contractor selection, and contract management associated with the development and construction of renewable energy projects.
  • Represent our interests in dealings with customers, clients, subcontractors, or suppliers.
  • Assist the VP Project Development with the day-to-day operations of our corporate Project Development team.

Requirements:

  • University degree in engineering or other relevant discipline.
  • Professional Engineering designation or certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a project engineering/management function for capital projects.
  • Project management professional certification through the Project Management Institute is preferred.
  • Renewable natural gas and/or anaerobic digestion experience would be considered an asset.
