Job Summary

Spectrum Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Project Director, Digital Health to lead and manage large and complex multi-stakeholder projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in project management frameworks and models, experience working within the healthcare sector, and excellent time management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management
    • Develop and implement full-scale project plans, schedules, and budgets.
    • Manage project risks, issues, and resources.
    • Conduct quality reviews and best practices evaluations.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration
    • Direct daily project activities and effectively communicate project expectations.
    • Coordinate the work of project team members to ensure activities meet or exceed needs and expectations.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Develop, track, and maintain project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Provide regular updates to the leadership team and stakeholders through project reports and presentations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
    • Support the leadership team in conducting stakeholder meetings and forums to solicit feedback and input.
    • Champion a co-design approach to ensure the voices of clients, families, frontline staff, and partners drive projects from conception to completion.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of project management experience in healthcare.
  • Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences, Engineering, Health Care/Informatics, or Business Administration.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
  • Conversant in various project management tools, including Primavera, MS Project, MS Excel, MS Visio, WBS Pro, and Eclipse.
  • Experience with Agile and Lean methodologies is an asset.
  • Proven ability to lead, plan, implement, and manage projects and initiatives in a healthcare setting.
