About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Medical Care Assistant to join our team at 9114 5771 Québec inc. As a Medical Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Personal Care: Assist patients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their comfort and dignity are maintained at all times.
  • Assist with Daily Living Activities: Help patients with daily living activities such as eating, drinking, and using the bathroom.
  • Monitor and Report Changes: Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Support with Mobility and Transfers: Assist patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Administer First Aid: Provide basic first aid and emergency care as needed.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of a healthcare aide program or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: Possession of a valid CPR certificate and other required certifications.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a patient care role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
