Job Title: Medical Care Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Medical Care Assistant to join our team at 9114 5771 Québec inc.

Job Summary:

The Medical Care Assistant will provide high-quality patient care and support to our clients, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. This is a permanent full-time position, working 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist patients with daily activities, such as eating, toileting, and mobility
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations
  • Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher
  • Answer call signals to determine patients' needs
  • Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort
Requirements:
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience
  • Certifications: Moving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP) training, CPR Certificate, Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, initiative, interpersonal awareness, organized, reliability, team player
