About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Care Assistant to join our team at Coup de main à domicile de Rimouski. As a Medical Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living activities: Help patients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as serving meal trays and feeding patients.
  • Monitor vital signs: Take patients' blood pressure, temperature, and pulse to ensure their overall health and well-being.
  • Provide mobility assistance: Transport patients in wheelchairs or stretchers, and help them with walking and balance.
  • Administer first aid: Provide emergency care and first aid to patients as needed.
  • Maintain patient records: Accurately document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Moving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP) training, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate.
  • Language: Fluency in French is required.
