About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Care Assistant to join our team at Coup de main à domicile de Rimouski. As a Medical Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Prepare and serve meal trays and assist patients with feeding.
  • Maintain patients' rooms and ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Transport patients in wheelchairs or stretchers as needed.
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations.
Requirements
  • Completion of a medical care assistant program or equivalent experience.
  • Valid certification in CPR and first aid.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
