Job Title: Special Needs Educational Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Educational Assistant to join our team at Summit Micro School. As a Special Needs Educational Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special needs in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with special needs, helping them with assignments and reinforcing learning concepts under the supervision of the classroom teacher.
  • Supervise students during school and extracurricular activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Assist students with integration into the classroom and school setting, promoting socialization and inclusion.
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment.
  • Assess social developments and provide feedback to the classroom teacher.
Work Experience:
  • Experience working with students with emotional disturbances, communication difficulties, intellectual disabilities, autism, ADHD, and behavioral issues.
  • Ability to work with children with varying levels of ability and need.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
