Job Title: Department Manager, Footwear, Lambton Mall

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Sales Manager to lead our Footwear department at Lambton Mall. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and implementing visual merchandising strategies, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve departmental sales targets
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results and improve customer experience
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform visual merchandising and sales strategies
  • Manage inventory levels and optimize stockroom operations to minimize waste and maximize sales

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
  • Business acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
