About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Sales Manager to lead our Footwear department at Lambton Mall. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and executing business plans, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business plans to drive sales growth and achieve departmental targets.
  • Lead and manage a team of sales associates to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Coach and develop team members to improve sales skills and knowledge.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve company goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Proven track record of business growth and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in or involvement in sports or the sporting goods industry an asset.
