Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Shift Manager to join our team at McDonald's Restaurant of Canada. As a Restaurant Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Hire food service staff
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
  • Establish work schedules
  • Supervise staff or team
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
  • Provide customer service
  • Leading/instructing individuals
  • Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
  • Plan and organize daily operations
  • Motivate staff

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Flexibility and a positive attitude
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team
