Job Title: Electronics Assembly Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Assembly Supervisor to join our team at Jastram Engineering Ltd. in a permanent position.

Job Summary:

The Electronics Assembly Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the assembly of electronic components, ensuring quality control, and supervising a team of electronics assemblers, fabricators, inspectors, and testers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure staff have the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Oversee the safety of operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Recommend personnel actions and participate in staff meetings.
  • Supervise staff or team, including electronics assemblers, fabricators, inspectors, and testers.
  • Identify and mark acceptable and defective assemblies, conduct quality control, and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work, train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of supervisory experience in electronics assembly or a related field.
  • Excellent oral communication, judgement, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
Work Environment:

The Electronics Assembly Supervisor will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a team of electronics assemblers, fabricators, inspectors, and testers. The work environment will require the ability to handle heavy loads, maintain attention to detail, and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
