Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Assembly Supervisor to join our team at Jastram Engineering Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the assembly of electronic components, ensuring high-quality products, and leading a team of electronics assemblers, fabricators, inspectors, and testers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Train or arrange for training, and oversee the safety of operations
  • Recommend personnel actions, supervise staff or team, and identify and mark acceptable and defective assemblies
  • Conduct quality control, and participate in staff meetings
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work, and establish work priorities
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, or equivalent experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of supervisory experience in electronics assembly
  • Excellent oral communication, judgement, and reliability
  • Ability to distinguish between colours, and hand-eye co-ordination
Work Environment
  • Repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • 40 hours per week, with a dental plan, health care plan, and vision care benefits
