Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Office Operations Manager to join our team at MATHEMATICS TUTOR MAKES IT EASY. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing new administrative procedures, delegating work to office support staff, and establishing work priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement new administrative procedures to improve office efficiency
- Delegate work to office support staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
- Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
- Train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties
- Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures to ensure they are running smoothly
- Resolve conflict situations in a fair and professional manner
- Monitor and evaluate office operations to identify areas for improvement
- Oversee payroll administration to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Plan and control budget and expenditures to ensure financial stability
Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in an administrative role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
- Ability to work in a office environment
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
