We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Rehab First Inc. in Hamilton, ON.

As an Occupational Therapist at Rehab First Inc., you will work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide rehabilitation services to clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Completing general and specialized assessments to identify physical and cognitive capacities, mobility, and attendant care needs.
  • Developing individualized treatment plans with clients to achieve their goals.
  • Providing treatment to clients in the clinic, community, home, or workplace.
  • Preparing and submitting case notes and reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario in good standing, or be in the process of registration as a new graduate.
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in the community.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation, such as the Health Care Consent Act and Mental Health Act.
  • Superior communication, problem-solving, time management, and documentation skills.
  • Self-motivation and ability to manage a busy and varied caseload.
  • A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • A satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check within the last six months.

This role involves working on the road, providing services to clients in various locations. A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license are essential requirements.
