We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Rehab First Inc. in Hamilton, ON.

About the Role

This is a full-time or part-time position available for a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services to clients with physical and cognitive impairments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical and cognitive abilities, identifying areas of need and developing individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions to improve clients' functional capacity, mobility, and daily living skills.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and caregivers to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress, ensuring timely submission of reports and case notes.
Requirements
  • MSc. Occupational Therapy degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario in good standing (or in process of registration as a new grad).
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in community-based settings.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation, such as the Health Care Consent Act and Mental Health Act.
  • Superior communication, problem-solving, time management, and documentation skills.
  • Self-motivation, ability to manage a busy caseload, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Valid Driver's License, auto insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Completion of a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check within the last six months.
