About the Role

MOMENTOS DE NINOS CHILDCARE LTD is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Care Professional to join our team. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess children's development and create personalized learning plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Develop and implement engaging child-care programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Maintain a clean and organized daycare environment, including equipment and supplies.
  • Engage children in storytelling, singing, and other activities that foster creativity and social skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress.
  • Assist in planning and implementing activities that promote healthy eating habits, dressing, and toilet training.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral issues and report to supervisors.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
Requirements
  • Early childhood education and teaching experience or equivalent.
  • Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Knowledge of licensing regulations.
