About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Brentwood Montessori Child Care Ltd. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs of children, promoting their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Lead activities, tell stories, teach songs, and take children on outings to local points of interest, fostering a love for learning and exploration.
  • Child Development Support: Assist children in developing essential life skills, such as eating, dressing, and toilet habits, while observing and reporting any potential learning or behavioral issues to parents or guardians.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Establish and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and community service providers, working together to provide a comprehensive support system for children.
  • Environment and Safety: Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment that protects the well-being of children, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Supervision and Coordination: Supervise and coordinate the activities of other early childhood educators and assistants, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the child-care program.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Qualifications: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a child-care setting
  • Language: Fluency in English
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week
