About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at JEMO Foods Inc. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to take on a leadership role in our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports, providing regular updates on kitchen operations and performance.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff. Strong organizational and time management skills, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
  • Languages: Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and holidays.
