Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Team Lead to join our team at Top Spot Pub.

About the Role

This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and be able to lead a team with ease.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain high-quality dishes.
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain inventory levels.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support when needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
Requirements
  • A Food Safety Certificate is required for this role.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have strong physical capabilities, including standing for extended periods.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for this position.
  • Experience in a similar role is an asset.
