Culinary Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Team Lead to join our team at Top Spot Pub.
About the RoleThis is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and be able to lead a team with ease.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain high-quality dishes.
- Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain inventory levels.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support when needed.
- Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
- A Food Safety Certificate is required for this role.
- The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have strong physical capabilities, including standing for extended periods.
- Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for this position.
- Experience in a similar role is an asset.
- A competitive salary of $50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
