Job Title: Delivery Operations Manager

Vavaa Distributions Ltd. is seeking a skilled Delivery Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of goods and ensuring that our customers receive their orders on time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Report Preparation: Prepare production and other reports to track delivery performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend measures to improve work methods and increase productivity.
  • Technical Advice: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise workers and projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Training and Development: Train or arrange for training to ensure that team members have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
  • Activity Coordination: Co-ordinate and schedule activities to ensure that delivery operations run smoothly.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Personnel Actions: Recommend personnel actions to ensure that the team is working effectively.
  • Material Requisition: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to support delivery operations.
Support for Diverse Groups:
  • Newcomers and Refugees: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
  • Youth: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
  • Indigenous People: Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Mature Workers: Provide staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
  • Visible Minorities: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
