Job Title: Delivery Operations Manager

Vavaa Distributions Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Delivery Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of goods and ensuring that our customers receive their orders on time and in good condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise Delivery Drivers: Manage a team of delivery drivers to ensure that they are following company procedures and meeting delivery deadlines.
  • Coordinate Logistics: Plan and coordinate the logistics of delivery operations, including scheduling, routing, and inventory management.
  • Monitor Performance: Track and analyze delivery performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize delivery operations.
  • Ensure Customer Satisfaction: Work closely with customers to resolve any delivery issues and ensure that they are satisfied with our service.
  • Train and Develop Team Members: Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
  • Support for Youths: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Support for Mature Workers: Provide staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
