Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietitian II Renal to join our team at Providence Health Care. As a key member of our clinical nutrition team, you will be responsible for providing expert nutritional care to patients with renal disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and develop individualized nutritional care plans for patients with renal disease, taking into account their complex needs and medical history.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on nutrition-related topics, including diet modifications and lifestyle changes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in renal nutrition, and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in research activities to advance the field of renal nutrition.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition or Dietetics from a recognized university.
  • Dietetic internship from a Dietitians of Canada accredited program.
  • Two years' recent experience working with patients with renal disease in a medical or acute care setting.
  • Current registration with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia.
