About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architectural Designer to join our team at Dexterra Group. As a key member of our NRB Modular Solutions team, you will play a critical role in the development of innovative modular building designs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and prepare Revit designs and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design compliance with applicable codes and client specifications.
  • Provide technical assistance and input on new proposals and contracts.
  • Prepare proposal specifications and presentation documents in accordance with client and/or project requirements.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to client specifications in design information.
  • Work with purchasing and vendors to source, review, and specify equipment.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve products and items library.
  • Manage and lead the design task on day-to-day.

Requirements

  • University degree or Building Technology Diploma from an accredited institution, specializing in Architecture or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with wood-frame and/or steel-frame/panels building technology relating to commercial, industrial, residential, and/or hospitality.
  • Ability to read, edit, and create building specifications and detailed construction drawings.
  • Working knowledge of Revit and Autodesk ACC software experience.
  • Experience with modular/factory-built construction and BOM (Bill of Materials) is an asset.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
