About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Benefits Implementation Consultant to join our team at Greenshield Holdings. As a key member of our benefits administration team, you will be responsible for implementing and configuring benefits administration solutions for our customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Benefits Administration: Complete product configuration and quality control testing based on business requirements and project timelines.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex benefits administration technology and implementation concepts.
  • Client Service: Deliver quality services, value, and model excellent client service by establishing goals and implementation plans to achieve high-quality deliverables within expected timeframes.
  • Quality Assurance: Responsible for the quality of the custom benefit administration solutions, including supporting System Integration Testing, Performance Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Client Acceptance Testing (CAT) for each individual client need.
  • Client Relationships: Develop and maintain productive relationships with client management, focusing on deliverables and client business priorities.
  • Process Improvement: Identify gaps in existing processes and work with leadership to build out processes, make recommendations, and execute process improvement.
  • Documentation: Gather and document desired output from employer and their representatives.
  • System Input: Capture all employer information and facilitate system input with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Risk Management: Quickly escalate any identified risks or issues to a project based on product configuration requirements to project management and management.
  • Knowledge Management: Maintain knowledge of the inbound and outbound data requirements of CWI benefit administration solutions.
  • Project Management: Organize, investigate, and resolve assigned work in a timely and effective manner.
  • Communication: Provide updates on accomplishments, issues, and future activities of assigned projects in weekly meetings.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Maintain a high level of commitment to superior customer satisfaction through the entire duration of the customer relationship.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in the benefit administration industry.
  • Organization: Highly organized and process-oriented.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent at resolving problems.
  • Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Familiar with traditional SDLC and Agile methods/practices.
  • Adaptability: Can adapt to new information and change approach to achieve objectives as needed.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, yet also work independently on complex implementations.
  • Time Management: Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Quality Focus: Passionate about quality and continuous improvement, with an emphasis on creating solutions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Project, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or experience otherwise equivalent to a bachelor's degree.
  • Implementation Experience: Prior experience in implementing and/or supporting software applications.
  • Methodologies: Experience working with implementation methodologies and/or equivalent project management methodologies.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail.
  • Independence: Self-starter and ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team approach.
  • Prioritization: Able to prioritize workload and work effectively with minimal supervision; demonstrated ability to work concurrently on multiple projects with several teams.
