We are seeking an experienced Environmental Remediation Specialist to join our team at Associated Engineering.

Job Description

As an Environmental Remediation Specialist, you will play a key role in the management and remediation of contaminated sites. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and developing effective solutions for site remediation.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct site assessments and develop remediation strategies
  • Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide technical support and guidance
  • Develop and implement sampling protocols to assess contaminant levels
  • Prepare and present reports to stakeholders, including clients and government agencies
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in environmental science, hydrology, physical geography, earth science, chemistry, water resources, or equivalent field
  • Minimum 2 years of post-graduation experience in contaminated site management
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Alberta's contaminated sites regulatory environment
