We are seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Project Manager to join our team at QM Environmental.

Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this role is between $120,000 and $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role

This is a key leadership position responsible for managing environmental projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with expertise in managing projects related to demolition, hazardous materials abatement, emergency response, and environmental remediation.

As a Senior Environmental Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards;
  • Developing and implementing project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and cost control;
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and requirements, and ensuring that projects meet their expectations;
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, and providing regular updates to stakeholders;
  • Identifying opportunities for growth and improvement, and implementing changes to enhance project delivery and client satisfaction;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in environmental sciences or a related field;
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on environmental projects;
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams;
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions;
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, with the ability to ensure compliance;
  • A strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to apply them effectively;
