About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Infrastructure Program Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to drive the implementation and deployment of data center expansion projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Break down large, complex projects into manageable pieces and develop detailed project plans.
  • Clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote teams.
  • Manage interface between internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of data center projects.
  • Build and maintain overall delivery program and project budget, submitting capital allocation requests to senior leadership to secure finance for project delivery.
  • Work with capacity planning, energy, and real estate teams to develop short- and long-term build strategies to meet forecast demand.
  • Support continuous process improvement through leading workflow updates, documenting and implementing lessons learned, and sharing knowledge across delivery teams.
  • Regularly report to senior leadership on status of key project metrics versus commitment.
About the Team

Our team is responsible for designing, planning, delivering, and operating all AWS global infrastructure. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain, and we're looking for talented individuals who want to help.

What You'll Need
  • 5+ years of program management experience in capital projects/physical infrastructure or mission-critical environments.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage large-scale budgets.
  • Industry experience across either data center, networking engineering, or construction management.
  • Understanding of critical environments and large capital projects and technologies.
  • Experience of data center design, construction, and fit-out projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in construction/science/engineering.
  • Experience of delivering projects with multiple stakeholders across multiple locations in Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
