About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Programs Director to join our team at Harris Leadership Strategies. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of our mandate, programs, and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Program Development and Implementation

Develop and implement new programming initiatives to support global entrepreneurship and innovation, while enhancing and expanding our existing programs: ElevateIP, Founders Program, WiLab, and AMLab.

Relationship Building and Partnerships

Build and maintain meaningful relationships with the business community, founders, venture capital and angel investor networks, funders, and mentors to drive program success.

Team Leadership and Management

Lead a small high-performing team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the quality and effectiveness of programs.

Financial Management

Manage program budgets, allocating resources effectively, monitoring expenses, and ensuring programs operate within budgetary constraints.

Program Evaluation and Improvement

Monitor, analyze, and feedback to ensure the quality and effectiveness of programs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

Requirements
  1. Experience in Entrepreneurial Settings

Proven experience working within entrepreneurial settings, with a strong understanding of startup ecosystems and the ability to craft and execute innovative programs.

Financial Acumen and Business Savvy

Strong financial acumen and business savvy, combined with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to synthesize complexity and ideate innovative solutions.

Leadership and Interpersonal Skills

Exceptional leadership skills, including the ability to inspire others, manage conflicts, and foster a collaborative and diverse work environment.

Communication and Presentation Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present effectively and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
